The greater Atlanta metropolitan area has many substance abuse treatment programs that offer an array of services including detoxification, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, and residential treatment. Some programs offer services for special populations such as adults, adolescents, men, and women, while others offer specialized seivices such as methadone maintenance for opiate addiction.
